Blog, blog, blog blog blog.

Don't get me wrong, I realise that, although I am writing this blog, I have no followers...yet. The thing is that I do just love blogging. It's some kind of addiction which has been stirred up in side me overnight. In fact, the moment I had posted my last blog I was reaching for the keyboard in order to blog again. But no, I had the strength in me to wait for a new day at least...

And here it is! The new day is long upon us and still, no followers. But one day that will all change I am sure! I hope! I doubt...

But anyway, yes the ground is still frozen over, yes people are still slipping and sliding all over the place, yes the trees are still being weighed down with chunks of icey-snow but who cares?! I'm not here to talk about the weather. I'm here to talk about Facebook today. Facebook. The online book of faces. Yes, this humble little social networking site is at the very center of my universe.

I spend hours on Facebook doing absolutely nothing when I could be revising, or practicing music, or helping Mum around the house. And I just don't understand it. Why? Why do I spend so long "Facebooking"? Even when no-one's online, I've replied to all my messages, I've looked through all my notifications, I've commented on all the awful photos of me people have uploaded, I've RSVPed to all the events I've been invited to, I've fed my pet on Petville, I've tended to my farm on Farmville, I've joined another 20 groups, I've become a fan of another 30 pages, uploaded the photos from that crazy party last night, I've tagged all my friends in the photos of that crazy party last night and I've "liked" all the status from the past 12 hours *deep breath* I can still be found sat in front of my laptop, mindlessly clicking through friends' profiles or refreshing the page in hope of that little red square to appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen. So you can see my confusion as to what exactly compells us to sit on Facebook for hour after mind-numbing hour, right?

Facebook does have some good points though. I discovered Blogger through a friend of mine telling the world of Facebook that she had started "blogging" and thought "hey, that sounds like a pretty swell idea". Though it wasn't until a better friend of mine told me yesterday in English how she wished to blog also that we decided we would go crazy and start a blog. If you're reading this and you are not the friend I was just talking about, she may well be one of my followers on here and therefore you can check her blog out too. However, at this very moment she is not home and hasn't actually seen my blog yet and therefore...I'm not making any promises that she's following me yet.

I do apologise if what I type confuses you at times. I am a rather confusing typer. I tend to ramble on a bit you see, and most of the time people can't understand me. I'll try my best not to let that happen. Promise.

So, that's it for another slippery, cold day. I'm off out for lunch in a bit with my Dad so wish me luck getting across to the car!
